Interim House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that provides a continuum of comprehensive services to women with substance abuse and mental health issues. Interim House serves approximately 100 clients each year through its 60 licensed outpatient service slots and 25-bed residential program. As the first specialized treatment program for women in Pennsylvania and one of the first in the nation, Interim House has been a model for innovative treatment for approximately 40 years.
Interim House provides a range of structured activities 12 hours per day in its residential program. Each woman is encouraged to develop the skills that she needs to make positive changes in her life. Comprehensive services help women develop self-awareness, positive self-image and tools necessary to rebuild lives affected by addiction, psychiatric disorders and trauma.
