About INLAND VALLEY DRUG AND ALCOHOL RECOVERY SERVICES Pomona

The agency provides substance abuse services for people of all ages who live in the Pomona and San Gabriel Valleys. Services include outpatient alcohol and drug abuse counseling, alcohol and drug education and prevention, first and multiple offender drinking driver programs for court referred people, and a drug diversion program. Services are provided at two locations; see site list for details. There are no geographic restrictions.

Outpatient counseling services are twelve-step oriented and include individual, group and family counseling. The agency also provides alcohol and drug abuse education and prevention through speakers which are available to community and professional groups.

The drinking driver services include a three-month first offender program and an 18 month multiple offender program. Both programs include alcohol and drug education, group counseling and information and referrals to twelve-step meetings.

The drug diversion program is a five-month program that includes prevention education and group counseling.

LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH

The drinking driver program is available in spanish.

FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE


Fees for counseling are based on a sliding scale starting at $25; the drinking driver program and drug diversion program fees are based on the state rate. The fees for the education and prevention presentations is negotiable.
